How are you Tracking your Savings in 2011? Here’s My solution;)
Many of you have stated that you are in need of a spreadsheet that allows you to track your savings throughout the year. Bibity Bobity Bo ~~ Here you are: I’ve been making a spreadsheet that will allow you to input grocery & drug store receipts.
I know it can be very motivating to see what you’ve been saving and spending!
We here at Two Frugal Friends have made a GROCERY SAVINGS CHART. ~ I like seeing my percentage saved across the board (and the best part is that this one is nice and simple!). I started using mine at the end of last year & into this year for a month & 1/2, I wanted to make sure that I had all the bugs and tweeks out – but I have been thrilled to see an average savings for January 2011 of 67% so far(Note: I have had to adjust for my daughters Birthday)!
Like many of you, I like to track all of my store purchases for the year – including groceries, cleaning products, health and beauty aids and clothing. Others limit it their records to only grocery spending. It’s really up to you!
Take a look at our Saving Chart HERE it is simple & easy to use! If you have any questions or need help with it please comment on this post, on facebook, twitter, or e-mail me.
Remember – if you’re spending even a little bit less each month or getting more for your money, you’re taking a step in the right direction!
Did YOU track your savings in 2010? I’d love to hear how you did!
